Come for Work Week or a Work Retreat!
We pray that everyone is planning now to attend Camp Sychar this year, JULY 22- AUGUST 1, 2021! Even before Camp begins, we want to provide an opportunity to come for a summer Work Retreat for a day or a few days. It would be a visit with a purpose of serving by providing your time and energy each day to work on the many projects around the grounds.

Last summer over 90 people joined us for Work Retreats, and made a huge difference and contribution to the general maintenance needs of the campgrounds! There is still much work to be done to have the buildings and grounds repaired, painted, and prepared for the BIG 150th celebration- and now we can rejoice in the relaxed CDC guidelines as we get ready for a great encampment!

- You must pre-register, preferably a week in advance, by phone with Tom Keene at (614) 561-5047, or by email at pastortom2@sbcglobal.net.
- Reservations can be made for dates from May 11th through June 26th and will be “first come, first served.”
- Keep in mind that the buildings and grounds are not totally “up and running” so facilities are limited. Restrooms and showers will be open; each group must bring their own food.
- In addition, remember our annual “large group” WORK WEEK will take place June 28th - JULY 2nd. During Work Week the cafeteria will be serving grab and go food.
Dick Clark Memorial Fund
Dick Clark was a faithful member of the Camp Sychar Board for more than forty years. He served as treasurer and legal agent. Dick will be greatly missed. A memorial fund has been set up in his name. Donations to the fund can be made online at the secure giving portal by choosing the Memorials option and noting Dick Clark Memorial Fund on the Comments/Description line.
