Missionary Day is Tuesday, July 27th, 2010
Camp Sychar has supported missions from the days of its beginnings in the 1880’s. The stories of missionaries like Earl Seamands, Willis Hotchkiss, Virgil Kirkpatrick and Marshall Cavit fill the memories of Sychar campers, inspiring them to greater dedication to the cause of world evangelization. Currently, Camp Sychar supports 65 missionaries and missionary couples through seven different mission organizations. In the summer of 2008, Camp Sychar took a team to the island of Roatan in Honduras for the first camp short term missions trip!

Missions Budget
The Wednesday of Camp meeting every year is Missionary Day. Missionaries speak at every service that day, and offerings are taken for missions. Many people make pledges or faith promises for the missions budget as well as the General Budget. The world-wide outreach of Camp Sychar through holiness missions is guided by the Missions Secretary, Rev. Matthew Brookes and the Assistant Missions Secretary, Mrs. Sheila Haldeman.
