Recordings Engineer Position Open!!!
The Camp Sychar Media Ministry Team is currently in need of a Recordings Engineer!! This is a "full-time" position within the media team. This person:
- Works under the direction of the Media Director.
- Is responsible for monitoring all Main Tabernacle recordings throughout camp. (Checking levels, etc.)
- Is responsible for editing all Main Tabernacle sermon and music CD's throughout camp.
- **PLEASE NOTE: This involves multitrack recording and editing.**
- **PLEASE NOTE: This job may require some late night work.**
- Responsible for other miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- A MEAL TICKET and LODGING are provided, if needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Prior experience with multi-track recording and editing is REQUIRED. (We use Adobe Audition, but you do not necessarily need to have previous experience with this program if you have experience with another, professional grade engineering software.)
- Should be a hard worker with a teachable attitude.

The Camp Sychar Media Ministry Team offers quality sound, recording, and visual media for all adult, youth, and children's services. We also offer audio recordings of each Youth and Main Tabernacle sermon. Other recordings that are offered include Up On The Hill (youth music cd), Sychar Sings (Main Tabernacle music), and Sychar Sings Instrumental. On occasion, we offer recordings of certain mid-day seminars. All recordings are sold in the Sychar bookstore for $4.00 each, or you may put in a purchase order at the Duplication Room located on the left side of the Main Tabernacle stage. Note: There is a postage fee, when applicable. All audio is offered in CD format. Tapes available only by request.
In 2008, the media team began production of the daily camp newsletter, Dipping From The Well, which includes a schedule of events, birthdays and anniversaries, announcements, pictures, and a trivia question. Those who participate in the trivia questions are eligible to receive a $5.00 gift certificate to the bookstore or snack shop at the end of camp! Dipping From The Well is posted daily at various places around the campus, including in the cafeteria and at the front camp office. Free copies may be obtained at the front camp office and at the bookstore.
