Greetings from Camp Sychar’s President

 

Thank you for visiting campsychar.org!  I hope you will visit often, to catch all the news and any posted updates.

 

For 138 years, Camp Sychar has been part of the “Holiness” Movement.  Our sole purpose is to share the message of Christian Holiness.  Unfortunately, the word “holiness” gets bad press.  Some “holiness” preaching has scared people away, and some “holiness” people don’t live holy lives.

 

A classic in holiness literature is the book, The Christian’s Secret of a Happy Life by the great Quaker lady, Hannah Whitall Smith.  Everyone wants to be happy, right?  And that’s what real holiness is all about:  living so much in tune with God that one is fulfilled, contented, happy!
